Go on an exciting Sri Lanka cultural tour and gain historical experience and knowledge. You can visit the ancient city of Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa Archaeological city, UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Dambulla Cave Temple, Sigiriya Lion Rock, and the Three Temples loop, which features ancient temples in Embekka, Lankathilaka, and Gadaladeniya.
Kandy is famous for its sacred Buddhist sites, some of which include the Temple of the Sacred Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa), the colossal white statue of Buddha named Bahirawakanda Viharaya, and the Royal Botanical Garden. You can also explore the scenic Kandy Lake, which is popular for strolling. Other famous attractions in Sri Lanka include the well-preserved ruins of the ancient cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa. These were the capitals of Sri Lanka until the beginning of the 11th and 12th centuries AD. They remained prominent centers of political power and urban life in South Asia for centuries.
You will be met by one of the representatives at Kandy who will take you to explore Kandy City. You will enter the Temple of Tooth Relic with a bunch of flowers for the exploring temple. Afterward, you will be able to see the famous botanical garden in Peradeniya, where you will see several species of plants and trees. Later you return to Kandy, but before you enter the hotel you will visit colossal statue of Buddha named Bahirawakanda Vihara which permeates a sense of peace, serenity, and harmony; all in a stunning and gorgeous panoramic view of charming Kandy.
Early rise, you will be heading to Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa for an opportunity to search Sri Lanka's old ruins and monasteries. Later you will check into the hotel in Polonnaruwa to relax for the remainder of the day.
You have some breakfast in the hotel and you will pack your belongings and be ready to travel to Sigiriya to climb the Lion Rock. Then, you will visit Dambulla Cave Temple. Afterwards, we return to Kandy where you will check into the hotel for your overnight stay.
Enjoy your delicious breakfast and after which you will explore three temples in the Pilimathalawe. You will enter the Three Temple loop, where you can observe the magnificent creations. Then you return to Kandy, where your Sri Lanka journey will end.
