Kenya Budget Safari is scheduled with a pick from the departure point of Mama Ngina street. Drive via the splendid Great Rift Valley.
For a spectacular scenic view of the escarpment wall. Have another stopover at Narok Town for lunch. Later, the safari deepens into the wilderness of Maasai Mara arriving late afternoon. Check-in at the hotel, little siesta then proceed for a game downer activity till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.
Have early morning breakfast then depart for a full day game drive on the rolling savannah hills with packed picnic lunch. Transverse the mara plains as you spot some wildlife: lion, cheetah, elephant, leopard, rhino, antelope, zebra, kongoni, and buffalo among others. Have a picnic lunch at Mara river where the annual spectacular wildebeest migration takes place in August-October. Enjoy a fascinating view of the crocodiles and hippos pool as you take lunch. Exit the park at 1700 to your camp for an optional activity Maasai village visit. Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.
Early pre-morning game drive exhausting the wilderness of mara plans. Track nocturnal animals from their hunting zone. Return for breakfast. Check-out then exits Mara to connect to Nakuru National Park. Enjoy the scenic view of Mount Longonot along the way with a stopover at Lake Naivasha for an optional activity for a boat ride at an extra cost of $20 or a nature walk at the crescent island at an extra cost. On the way, you will marvel at the scenic views of the Rift Valley, and the beautiful scenery will leave you with a deeper appreciation of your Kenya safari experience. Dinner and overnight will be at the Citymax hotel.
Our last destination on this budget safari in Kenya is Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru National Park is one of Kenya's most beautiful National Parks. Over a million flamingos can be found here, turning the lakeshore pink. The National park is also home to over 400 species of birds, offering sweet melodious sounds and a natural experience like no other. Lake Nakuru is also home to the endangered black and white rhinos. Looking in the trees you will also spot the giraffes; if you look at the treetops, you will see the lions staring at your safari vehicle. Zebra herds can also be found grazing on the rich grass found here. Later, we will exit the park and return to Nairobi, with lunch on the way. You will be dropped off at your hotel or airport.
