7 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Machame Route:
A trekking safari that takes you to the top of the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro via the popular Machame Route with longer days of walking and steeper ascents, providing a bigger challenge and thus an even greater reward when you reach the summit. Begin at the Machame gate and make your way through the rainforest before hiking up to the Shira Plateau. Wind your way up the mountain, passing the Lava Tower and the Great Barranco Wall. On the final stretch, you will pass Stella Point and experience the most spectacular sunrise you have seen before the final push to Uhuru Peak. An amazing climbing safari, providing more seasoned climbers with the adventure of a lifetime. Enjoy the best Tanzania tour.
After an early breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel and make your way to Machame village. You can buy some last-minute items in the village before making your way to the Machame Gate in the Kilimanjaro National Park. Meet your climbing team and register before beginning your journey with a hike into the rainforest. Keep an eye out for the colobus monkeys and the many beautiful birds in the forest. Stop for a lunch break before going to Machame Camp in the late afternoon. Arrive at a set-up camp and have a tasty meal.

The camp is on a rocky ridge exposed to the wind, so familiarise yourself with the camp before dark.
