Sameday Taj Mahal Tour by Train

Our Driver will pick you up from Delhi Hotel at 06:30 am and drop you off at Delhi Railway Station (Hazrat Nizamuddin) to catch your train to Agra, Gatiman Express, at 08:10 am.
At 09:50 am, you will reach Agra Cantt Railway Station, where you will be picked up by your Driver, having a placard of your name at the exit gate, and will proceed to visit the Taj Mahal with your Tour Guide.
Taj Mahal: In the year 1631, the construction of this iconic monument started. About 22,000 laborers and 1,000 elephants completed the construction in 22 years. This epitome of love was built using white marble (brought from every part of India and central Asia). The structure was completed in 1653 and included an expenditure of 40 million rupees approx. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It has been enlisted as a UNESCO World Heritage site built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Arjumand Bano Begum, popularly known as Mumtaz Mahal. This white mausoleum was constructed in Mughal architectural style.
Later you will be taken for the visit to Agra Fort,
Agra Fort: It is popularly known as the Agra Fort, which was built on the banks of River Yamuna, covering an area of almost 2.5 km. This fort was built using red sandstone, housing several buildings inside. It has two major gates, the Delhi Gate and the Amar Singh Gate.
After the visit to Agra fort, you will be taken for Lunch at Bon Barbeque Restaurant.
After Lunch, Explore Local Art like Marble Inlay work, an Exquisite collection of Mughal jewelry, Hand-knotted Persian rugs, etc.,
Then you will visit Itmad ud Daulah Tomb, known as `Baby Taj’.
Baby Taj: This splendid mausoleum of the father of Mughal Empress Noor Jahan, Mirza Ghias Baig, is known as the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula, one of the popular attractions of Agra. The chief tomb was built using pure white marble. Each of its walls comprises three arches with attractive trellis screens, which have been carved so delicately that they look as if made of ivory.
After that, you will be dropped off at Agra Cantt Railway Station to catch your train to Delhi at 05:00 pm. That train will reach Hazrat Nizamuddin Station at 07:30 pm. You will be picked up from Delhi Railway Station and returned to Delhi Hotel / Airport. This will end your sameday Taj Mahal tour with unforgettable memories.
