Drive straight to Anuradhapura, which was the capital of Sri Lanka from 5 B.C. to 1017 A.D. Visit the most sacred “Bo Tree” which was shelter to the Lord Buddha during his enlightenment and where he gazed for seven weeks, can be found here. It is victorious to see that the world’s largest and oldest man-made brick building still stands, this being the Jethawanarama Pagoda.
The area also includes an archeological museum, ruvanvelisaya dagoba, abhayagiri dagoba, brazen palace, royal palace, samadhi buddha statue, kuttam pokuna, moonstone, tanks and so much more. These are just some of the remarkable ancient creations which exhibit the proud history of the Anuradhapura Kingdom.

Today, you will drive to Sigiriya. Here, you can dedicate the whole evening to fully exploring the Eighth World Wonder of Sigiriya Royal Palace. You will be the witness to marvelous landscapes, irrigation technology, and the aesthetic abilities of ancient Sinhalese culture.

Drive to Kandy and visit the largest Royal Botanical Gardens, which is covered by colorful flowers, herbs, endemic and epidemic plant species, and palm family trees. The gardens include more than 4000 varieties.
Then you will be heading to the viewpoint of Kandy, before enjoying some authentic Kandyan dancing in the evening. Finally, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. The most sacred molar tooth of the Lord Buddha is placed in seven golden caskets, under a golden ceiling.
Visit the largest Royal Botanical Gardens, which includes more than 4000 varieties of colorful and interesting plant species.

Travel to Kitulgala and enjoy an exhilarating water rafting experience. You can feel the exciting rush of water rafting on the Kelani River at Kitulgala in Sri Lanka (If you are above 10 years of age). Well-trained and experienced coaches would guide you in the rafting with all safety equipment and safety guards in place.
It is about 5km still water and another 5km covers major and minor rapids, so there is something for all adrenaline junkies! This is an incredible experience you should never miss in Sri Lanka. Afterward, drive to Nuwara Eliya for the night.

Your journey begins at 5 a.m. for a drive to Horton Plains, which is the highest plain and boasts a 9km circular walking track (this takes roughly 3/4 hours to complete). The World's-end viewpoint is the most iconic place, here you can see up to the South Coast of Sri Lanka - a truly breathtaking sight and well worth the walk!
After this, you will be driven back to the hotel in Ella. Little Adams Peak is an attractive viewpoint at sunrise, as well as the sun sets as it is another high viewpoint in Ella. It takes about one and a half hours to complete the journey.

Today you will drive to Tissamaharama, on the route you will see the wonderful Rawana Ella waterfall. Rawana Ella is the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka, as well as it is a spectacular sight. By lunchtime you can join a Yala Safari, it is interesting and one of the most popular activities among tourists.
This is due to the fact that Yala is the second largest wildlife reserve in Sri Lanka. It contains a higher density of leopard population than any national park in the world! So if you are lucky you can spot these incredible wild cats during your safari.

Today you will drive to Mirissa, stopping at Hummanaya blow hole and a turtle hatchery on your way. Hummanaya blow hole, pumps seawater up to 40 feet high, all from a natural hole between two rocks! The next stop is the turtle conservation project. Share a helping hand at this incredible turtle hatchery before driving to your hotel.

Get ready for an exciting dolphin and whale watching tour which begins bright and early at 6.00 a.m. This tour will take roughly 4 hours. After your time whale and dolphin watching, you will see the World Heritage site “Galle Fort”. It was built by the Portuguese and was reconstructed during the Dutch period. Next, you can witness traditional stilt fishing, before relaxing at your hotel.

Firstly venture out to the coral reefs and enjoy scuba diving and snorkeling, under the safety supervision of well-experienced professionals.
