You are picked up at 8.00 a.m. from the hotel in Kandy and drive straightway to “Ambuluwawa”, a greenery hilly area rich in biodiversity. At the top of the mountain, there is a man-made viewpoint tower with a height of approximately 48 meters and provides a 360-degree view gallery.
You can witness scenic landscapes and waterfalls while traveling to Nuwara Eliya. Upland tea estates are highly remarkable in Nuwara Eliya, and the massive land area is dedicated to high-grown upland tea plantations.
The next stop is Macwoods tea factory, where you learn about the entire tea processing and the tea varieties according to the taste and quality. You can purchase fresh tea products from the factory outlet.
The journey would pause for the 1st day at Nuwara Eliya.
The journey begins at 5:00 a.m. and drives to Horton plains, the highest plain and 9 km circular walking track that takes more than 3-4 hours. The World's End viewpoint is the most iconic place you can see up to the south coast of Sri Lanka. The Bakers fall is another eye-catching scenery, and the Horton plains is a highly sensitive natural zone in Sri Lanka. The journey ends by driving to the hotel in Ella.
