Pakistan Cultural Tour:
The culture of the Indus valley was an ancient civilization on the fertile plain of the Indus River and its surroundings. Evidence of religious beliefs in this region is dated around 5500 BCE. Farming settlements started around 4000 BCE and the first signs of urbanization emerged around 3000 BCE. By 2600 BCE hundreds of cities and towns had been founded and the Indus Valley Civilization was at its peak between 2500 and 2000 BCE. Two towns, in particular, were excavated at the Mohenjo-Daro sites on the lower Indus, and further upstream at Harappa. Around 1800 BCE the civilization of the Indus Valley saw the beginning of its decline period. Writing began to vanish, uniform weights and measures used for the purposes of trade and taxes were abolished, the link with the Near East was broken, and some cities were phased out.
The reasons for this decline are not entirely clear, but it is assumed that the main cause was the drying up of the Sara Swati River, a cycle that started around 1900 BCE.

Starting in Karachi, you will have the opportunity to discover one of the most thrilling and historic cities in Pakistan, before moving through a landscape lined with ruins of the World Heritage and dazzling mausoleums of Sufi. You will discover the tombs of some of the most respected mystics and poets in the region, visit Mohenjo-Daro’s World Heritage Ruins, and venture into the Cholistan deserts to see Derawar’s mighty fortress.
In Multan, you will then have the opportunity to visit the famed Sufi City before finishing your journey to Lahore, Punjab’s cultural center. Here, among the chaos and clamor of one of the country’s most vibrant cities, you’ll spend a day discovering the Mogul, Sikh, and British Empires’ historical and religious reminders.
It is assumed that the settlement system of the Indus civilization consisted of two major cities, Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro, and more than one hundred small towns and villages. Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro are also recognized as Twin Cities of Indus Valley Civilization, based on similarity in architecture and other artifacts recovered through excavation. The main excavation centers of this civilization were Mohenjo-Daro on the Indus River in the Sindh province district of Larkana, and Harappa on the Ravi River in the Punjab province of Pakistan district of Sahiwal and northern part of Pakistan (Gilgit Baltistan). The visit to Taxila, an ancient city with Gandhara heritage, will round your journey off.
Arrival in Karachi

On your arrival at the airport in Karachi, you will meet your guide and driver and be escorted to your hotel located downtown. In the afternoon, you will be accompanied to visit Karachi National Museum with famous exhibits showing the culture and history of this country, and the Mohatta Palace Museum featuring 44 galleries collecting various artworks. Then you will continue to Mazar e Quaid, an elegant tomb complex. Before going back to the hotel, you will take a stroll at Clifton beach to see the local lifestyle.

In and around Hyderabad
After breakfast, you will head to Chaukhandi Tombs famous for its delicate carvings. Then a 2 to 3 hours drive will take you to Hyderabad. On the way, you will stop to visit Bambor historical seaport, the enormous Makli Necropolis, and The Shah Jahan Mosque dating back to the 17th century. You will have lunch near Keenjhar Lake. At the end of the day, you will arrive at your hotel in Hyderabad.

In and around Larkana
Today you will be escorted to your hotel in Larkana. En route, you will visit The Shrine of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, considered the greatest Muslim poet, the Shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan Shareef, and visit the ethnic group at Lake Manchar which is the largest natural freshwater lake in Pakistan and is one of Asia's largest.

In and around Sukkur
After breakfast, you will explore the 4,500-year-old Mohenjo Shah Daro, the ruins of an ancient city. This red city will amaze you with the artful structures and puzzles left by the ancient civilization. In the afternoon, you will be escorted to Sukkur to visit Masoom Shah Tower and the Seven sisters Shrine.

In and around Bahawalpur
A four hours drive takes us north onto Bahawalpur, once part of an independent princely state that was founded in 1802 by Nawab Mohammad Bahawal Khan II. The road passes by the city of Uch Sharif, which was believed to have been founded by Alexander the Great in 325 BC at the confluence of the Indus and Chenab Rivers. Here we stop to visit the beautiful tomb of Bibi Jawindi, one of the five monuments in Uch village which today is a pilgrimage site for Muslims visiting Sufi shrines. From here we then complete the journey to Bahawalpur
Following breakfast, we will drive into the remote landscapes of the Cholistan Desert to pay a visit to the imposing setting of Derawar Fort. With the increasing irrigation from the Indus, the desert has receded and been replaced by cultivated fields now quite close to the fort which is surrounded by scrubland. Built by the Rajput Bhati, the fortress dominates the desert around it, with 40 towering bastions that stand over 30 meters in height. A visit to the fort and the royal tombs of the Bahawalpur Nawabs is followed by a visit to a local village and also a bustling market, before returning to Bahawalpur for a second night.

In and around Multan
After a comfortable ride, you will reach Multan and check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit the Tomb of Shah Rukn-e-Alam, which houses the coffins of the saint and his disciples, the elegant Fort Kohna Qasim Garden, and the Tomb of Shah Shams Sabzwari Tabrez.

In and around Lahore
Today you will be escorted to your hotel in Lahore. En route, you will stop at the ruins of Harappa, the earliest ruin Indus Valley Civilization that has been found.

After breakfast, you will be guided to visit Lahore city. The first stop is Badshahi Mosque, which was constructed in the 17th century by the Mughal Empire. Then follows the visit to the 11th-century Lahore Fort, featuring Sheesh Mahal decorated with dazzling gems and marbles. After visiting the 62-meter-height Minar Pakistan, you will do lunch and head to the last stop for today's flag-lowering ceremony at the Wagah border. After the visits, you will be escorted back to your hotel.

Today you will set off to Gilgit by air and you will be reached Gilgit in 1 hour. During the flight, you will see the killer mountain Nanga Parbat which is the ninth-highest mountain on Earth, its summit at 8,126 m (26,660 ft) above sea level. After reaching Gilgit you will continue your journey to Minapin Valley by a private drive, which will take 1 and half hours. On the way, you will stop to take some photos of Silk Road, Collision Point of Continental Plates, and Rakaposhi's viewpoint. After the check-in at your hotel in Minapin, you will then have a stroll at the local bazaar with your guide. In this Valley, you people hosted by a local family for traditional dinner. Today the guest will explore Hunza valley. The morning will start off with a mesmerizing view of Rakaposhi peak from the hotel in Karimabad. The day will start with a visit to the Baltit fort (700 years old), Altit Fort (900 Years Old), and Ganish Settlements (1000 Years Old). Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee at the royal gardens of Altit Fort. A short excursion to the highest viewpoint (Duikar) in Hunza-Nagar late in the afternoon to witness sunsets on white peaks.

In the afternoon you will explore some parts of Islamabad and the first stop is Faisal Mosque, the largest mosque in Pakistan. Then you will continue to Shakar Parian National Park, where you will enjoy a picturesque panorama of Islamabad. At the exit of the park, you will see the iconic Pakistan Monument built of granite. After that, you will head to Daman-e-Koh, another beautiful park to enjoy the panoramic view. The next stop is the Lok Versa Museum, where you will enjoy the traditional arts of handicrafts in Pakistan. After the visit, you will do your Dinner at Monal's rest

Situated strategically on a branch of the Silk Road that linked China to the West, Taxila reached its apogee between the 1st and 5th centuries.
