One of the best things to do is to wake up early, grab a hearty breakfast and embark on a guided snorkeling excursion to watch the Majestic Whale Shark soar the waters with pride and grace in South Ari atoll, 90 minutes speed boat ride away from Maafushi. The guide on board explains in-depth information about the whale shark, highlighting its habitat, its life span, why and how it appears on the surface and the proper etiquette to swim with a whale shark. After the exhilarating swim to keep up with the whale shark, you will be served lunch in ‘Dhigurah’ a local island known for its long beach. This bucket list activity will not reach an end unless you snorkel at other reefs in the area where you will be able to see Giant.

After breakfast, you'll go to Alimatha House Reef, 30 minutes away from Maafushi island, which is home to a lot of nurse sharks, Giant Trevally, Eagle Rays, etc.; there can be a bit of solid current pressure where guests can have a close interaction of about 60 minutes with these harmless sleeping beauties. On this high adrenaline trip, we will take you to the remote and unexplored local island of Fulidhoo which is famous for its extremely beautiful turquoise lagoon with numerous fishes & Stingrays. After exploring and having lunch on the island, our journey will head towards an end after seeing the stingrays.

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and be transferred to Male Airport by shared speed boat in time for your flight. Pay attention to airport transfer times and boat timetables from Maafushi to Male airport.
Shared Speed boat transfer is between 8 am and 5 pm.
