You are picked up at 6.00 a.m. from your residence in Kandy and driven straight to the Lion Rock. You will visit the world's eighth wonder, which contains huge walls, water canals, security guard rooms, natural stoned arches, mirror stone, and world-famous Sigiri paintings. It is an isolated rock, Kingdom more than 200m in height. You have to spend more than two and a half hours.
Then your second destination is a village tour to experience ancient village life with their day-to-day activities, including catamaran rides, bullock carriage rides, walking towards paddy fields, cookery demonstration on traditional Sri Lankan foods, and enjoying a traditional meal.
The final stop is the Dambulla cave temple, the largest and the best-preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. The caves were converted into a temple complex by king Walagamba during the 1st century. There are about 153 Buddha statues and murals, which cover 2100 square meters. You must spend around one and a half hours surrounding the temple complex.
You are dropped back at your hotel in Kandy by the evening.
