Blue Whales and Wildlife Safari in Yala Bundala and Kumana Sri Lanka is one of the best places in the world to see blue whales, leopards and sloth bears in their natural habitat. Most blue whales can see the Deep South coast sea. With the continental shelf at its narrowest close to Dondra Head, Sri Lanka’s southernmost point, the Deep-water provides an ideal feeding ground for migrating whales from November to April. Yala is one of the most visited national parks in Sri Lanka, the place to visit to see wildlife, and one of the best places in the world to view leopards.
Upon your arrival at Bandaranayke International Airport who will meet and greet at the Airport and transfer to Mirissa where you will check in to the room and relax for rest of the day.
Early breakfast then you will leave around 7.00 am from the hotel to embark on a full-day whale watching safari. The duration of the whale watching tour depends on spotting the whales; usually, it’s up to 6 hours. You will be provided with soft drinks, water, and snacks during the activity. On completion, return to the hotel for your overnight.
You have some breakfast in the hotel, and then you will proceed to Yala for the opportunity to start a game drive in Yala. Upon arrival at the hotel for the relaxing and reminder of the day.
Rise early, you will head out and enter the Yala National park the explore the wildlife in the park. You will be served a packet of breakfast and lunch during the safari then you will return to the hotel and start a little walking around the hotel until your dinner.
Rise early and you will jump into the 4x4 safari jeep then you will be heading to Bunadala and Kumana for the opportunity to discover birds and leopards. You will be provided a packet of meals on the safari. Later you will return to the hotel for your overnight.
Enjoy some breakfast at the hotel’s main restaurant, and then you will pack your baggage and leave before midday to Negombo. We explored Negombo city and Lagoon in the evening.
After a late breakfast at the hotel depart from the hotel towards the airport.
